What is a meal-kit?

Our meal kits contain all the pre-portioned ingredients needed to create our recipes - we even include salt & pepper!

Once you select you recipe, you will receive an insulated box, complete with ice packs to keep the contents chilled for 24 hours after delivery.

The only things you'll need to create the recipes are a simple camp-stove or fire-pit, a pan large enough to contain the ingredients, a knife sharp enough to cut a lemon in half, a chopping board and hand-washing facilities nearby.

Who are these meal kits suitable for?

Anyone!

Whether you are camping, glamping, caravanning, Tent Boxing or simply looking for something simple to cook in the garden, these meal-kits are for you.

How far in advance can I order?

We understand that people like to plan their holidays in advance to get excited about them!

Our customers can book up to 12 months in advance. You can log in to your customer account and change your order up to 7 days before the delivery date too meaning you have amazing flexibility.

Can I get them delivered straight to the campsite?

We use a national courier who will deliver to any regular postal address. All we ask is that you please check with your campsite that they are willing to accept your delivery. They will not need to refrigerate it as the insulated box will keep ingredients chilled for up to 24 hours after delivery.

Do you deliver at the weekend?

Our standard delivery days are Monday to Saturday. Our courier service does not currently offer a Sunday of bank holiday delivery option.

If you are looking for delivery on a Sunday or bank holiday, please do get in touch and we can quote for a premium service.

Is next day delivery available?

As a small business offering fresh ingredients, we order from our suppliers each week to ensure we can fulfil pre-booked orders with no waste at the end of the week. For this reason, we do not currently offer next day delivery.

Having said that, we will always help if we can - if you are looking to place a last minute order, please do get in touch and we'll see what we can do!

Are your meals allergy friendly?

Each of our recipes lists the specific allergens contained within the ingredients.

Our kitchen handles all 14 major allergens as defined by UK Food Information Regulations, including but not limited to: cereals containing gluten, peanuts, nuts, eggs, milk, sesame, soy, fish, crustaceans, molluscs, celery, mustard, sulphites, and lupin.

While we take every precaution to prevent cross-contamination—including rigorous cleaning procedures, allergen controls, and staff training—we cannot guarantee that our products are completely free from trace amounts of allergens.

If you have a severe allergy, we recommend exercising caution and contacting us directly before placing an order.

How do I track my delivery?

Once your order is ready to ship, you will receive an email directly from the courier containing tracking information.

How long does it take to cook the meals?

The recipes range from 15 minutes to 35 minutes.

We also provide a cheese-board which requires no preparation at all!

Is your packaging recyclable or compostable?

Our insulated boxes are fully kerbside recyclable. The ice packs can be re-used or drained in domestic settings and the plastic recycled as part of our TerraCycle scheme.

How are the meals kept fresh during delivery?

We use specific food-grade insulated cardboard liners for our boxes which, when used with our frozen gel packs have been tested to retain the temperature of the ingredients inside for up to 48 hours (24 hours after delivery).

Whilst we endeavour to use recyclable packaging where possible, some of our suppliers use flexible plastics not currently part of kerbside recycling schemes. For these items, we provide pre-paid envelopes so that they can be returned to us and recycled as part of our TerraCycle Zero Waste Box collection.

What if something is missing or damaged in our kit?

As a small business, each box benefits from our personal attention. We are, however human and errors may indeed occur. We ask that you contact us as soon as possible so that we can resolve the issue as soon as we can.

Can I collect my order?

Our business is based in south Oxfordshire. If you would like to enquire about collection please do get in touch as this is not something we currently offer as standard.

We are, however, offering a click and collect service at CarFest this coming August bank holiday weekend. Customers can pre-book their meals via our website for collection on site at CarFest over the weekend.

Do the kits come with instructions?

Absolutely!

Each kit comes all ready with recipe cards included. This way you have everything you need to create a Glamp Gourmet meal.
